Membership

We are a not-for-profit organisation.  The principal purpose of the Association is:

• the protection and enhancement of the natural environment, particularly Cape York aquatic ecosystems

• the provision of information, education and / or research about the natural environment and aquatic ecosystems, 

• bringing together people and organisations to share resources and knowledge for the purposes listed above, and

• through education, employment and training, build the capacity of Cape York people and communities to participate in natural resource management activities and influence high-level (government) decision making.
