The Primitive Roads Project collaborated across the project area to identify and map priority areas of ‘primitive road’ erosion, carry out erosion control works at pilot locations, and develop Best Management Practice (BMP) guidelines. This project worked across all land tenures. A primitive road is any unformed road or track, this can include dirt roads, tracks, fence lines, and fire breaks.
